This kid can walk

Since about November Greg has been able to stand without holding onto anything, and for some weeks he's taken one or two little steps before dropping down to crawl. But last weekend he started really swinging his hips forward and striding across the room, sort of like a swaggering cowboy bellying up to the bar for a shot of Redeye. The whole left side of his body goes forward, then the whole right side. It thrills us to pieces, and so from our reaction he's pretty much gotten the idea that he's hot stuff, and therefore he grins with great self-satisfaction when he's walking. This new mobility of course also means that he has access to just about anything, so we have to raise our watchful vigilance another notch.
