Looking out over the valley. Autumn has swept into Kyoto behind the last typhoon, with increasingly cooler days and evenings, and the flopsweat can be forgotten until next summer comes. The Kyoto Arts Festival is in full swing once again.
Was just there this Sunday. Wonderful, but busy.

Summer vacations are over, autumn leaf-viewing crowds have yet to pour in, so I suppose there's a bit of a lull. You have to let me know the next time you are in town so we can have the first-ever MeFi Kansai mini-meetup.
