How are the colors there in Kyoto?
We'll be heading down this week, really looking forward to our second visit to the area.
The colors here in Tokyo have peaked, just starting to blow away. :(

Posted by: Jeff Rhind on November 22, 2005 10:05 AMI'm going to Kyoto for the first time next month (last week of December), Do you know if it will be snowing there?
Thanks,
Posted by: Tommy on November 23, 2005 01:20 PMStill huge amounts of toursts pouring into Kyoto every day, expecially with today being a national holiday. This week is the peak.
I think we can still expect huge crowds this weekend, and then people will settle into their kotatsu with tea and mikan for a while. New years will of course be packed; that's the next tourist crush.
I have no idea when it's going to snow, but it certainly could be cold enough to snow at the end of the year.
