Painted trains are fun to look at and brighten up monotonous concrete citylife. But it's such a shame to paint subways as only communters look at them.

I saw this one the other week on my trip to Kyoto. Wasn't sure the painting fitted the ambience of the steel carriage! Still, at least they are making an effort. I was going to take a snap too, but was too slow.
